In my book How To Build A Level Up Mindset, I discuss the importance of intention in achieving our goals. When we set an intention, we are essentially sending a message to our subconscious mind that we are committed to achieving that goal. This can help us to stay focused and motivated, even when things get tough.
Here is a formula I recommend to create powerful intentions:
- What do you want? Be specific and clear about what you are hoping to achieve.
- Why do you want it? What is the purpose of your goal? What will it mean to you to achieve it?
- When do you want it by? Set a deadline for yourself, so that you have something to work towards.
- How will you know when you’ve achieved it? What will be the evidence that you have reached your goal?
Once you have created your intention, your next step is to write it down and repeat it to yourself regularly. You can also visualize yourself achieving your goal, and feel the positive emotions that will come with it.
The more you focus on your intention, the more likely you are to achieve it. So don’t be afraid to dream big! Set some powerful intentions for yourself, and see what you can accomplish.
Here are some excerpts from the chapter that illustrate the importance of intention:
- “Your intentions are like seeds that you plant in your subconscious mind. When you water them with focus and attention, they will eventually grow into reality.”
- “When you set an intention, you are essentially creating a roadmap for your subconscious mind to follow. The more specific and clear your intention is, the easier it will be for your subconscious mind to understand what you want and how to achieve it.”
- “The power of intention is real. When you set an intention and take action towards it, you are opening up a world of possibilities for yourself.”
If you are looking to achieve your goals, I encourage you to read the chapter “The Power of Intention” from How To Build A Level Up Mindset. It is full of practical advice that can help you to create powerful intentions and achieve your dreams.
