Obsessed with your goals and vision!

We are officially 2 weeks away from the launch of the RiZeGrindRepeat Video Podcast.

This was one of the first goals and visions I wrote down as part of this new journey I set out for myself last year. I wrote down my vision of creating a blog to which I would also create videos and host a video podcast.

I didnโ€™t put a time frame around as to when or how I was going to launch the podcast, but what I did want to make sure I did was take immediate and incremental actions or steps forward each day/week/month toward my vision. This would ensure that I stayed committed and consistent with building my blog.

My goal was that the blog would be the foundation for me to reach as many people as possible in order to share what I learned throughout my journey with other people going through the same struggle. At the same time learning from others and researching what our purpose is here on this spaceship floating through the universe.

Although I didnโ€™t have all the answers regarding where to start or how to do certain things, the most important action I took was just getting started. I knew I needed a website, so the first thing I did was research domain names and where to host it. By just taking that initial step, the next step presented itself to me without having to struggle. Next I needed content, so I started telling my story and documenting my journey through a series of blog posts.

This process also helped me establish the format for how I want to layout/paginate the book Iโ€™m also working on. So this initial action actually triggered the creation of two goals I wanted to accomplish, hosting our upcoming video podcast and writing a book.

I didnโ€™t put a time frame around the podcast, but I wanted to be sure whatever cadence I established for the blog, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, I would be able to commit to that cadence for the video podcasts as well.

This would be important not only from an accountability perspective for me to keep a promise to myself, but also important to stay consistent for my readers and viewers.

For me, posting an article every two weeks and filling every other week with motivational quotes or facts was a promise I thought I could maintain. I felt this cadence would allow me to continue to provide useful and helpful information and tools, without overwhelming my audience with too many emails and posts. This would at least be a start and I can adjust as needed.

Looking back to where I started a year ago and to see the progress Iโ€™ve made with the help of so many of you is so humbling and gratifying. I am proud to say that since launching my blog in April of 2018, I have been able to maintain that consistency.

That consistency, taking small incremental steps has not only led me to the launch of the podcast but has also provided direction with the other areas of my life. This includes my athletic routine, diet, nutrition and various other daily habits I have blogged about and will discuss in upcoming podcast episodes.

I truly hope you tune in as I canโ€™t wait to bring you guests and hear them discuss how they navigate their lives and what advice they can share to help us all along our human experiences.
